Little Brother To Release "Separate But Equal (Drama Free Edition)" On November 4th
Fresh off of the success of the "And Justus For All" official release (debuted in Billboard Top 200,) Little Brother is out to duplicate the plan with the re-release of their acclaimed mixtape originally hosted by DJ Drama, now entitled "Separate But Equal (Drama Free Version)" on November 4th.
The new version, which no longer includes DJ Drama, has had three new tracks added to it, including two produced by 9th Wonder.
The majority of the production on "Separate But Equal (Drama Free Version)" is handled by Little Brother favorites 9th Wonder and Khrysis, with help coming from Illmind, The Kreators and Young Cee.
Skyzoo, Supastition, Darien Brockington and Dynas all make cameos on the album.
"Separate But Equal (Drama Free Version)" will be released on The Hall Of Justus via Traffic Entertainment Group.

Due to complications with the physical product, “Padded Room,” Joe Budden’s highly anticipated sophomore album through industry innovators Amalgam Digital, has been pushed back from October 28th 2008 to February 24th 2009.
Always loyal to fans, Joe Budden and Amalgam Digital have decided to release “The Halfway House,” a digital-only album featuring 14 brand new songs on October 28th as an intermediary album in place of “Padded Room”. Amalgam and Budden are setting a new precedent with this album, as it will be the first digital-only hip-hop release employing both traditional marketing methods (commercial radio, video, advertising campaigns, etc.) and new media viral marketing initiatives. The album will be released exclusively in digital format on AmalgamDigital.com, iTunes, and other key digital retailers.
“Though I’m not happy about it being pushed so far back, I do understand the method behind the madness. We've got an album I’m extremely proud of and a lead single that Amalgam Digital and I are both very happy with, but for those of you who are just as anxious as I am, I apologize,” said Joe Budden.
Amalgam Digital released the following statement: “There is a popular misconception that Amalgam Digital is strictly an internet label. Although the label places a strong focus on new media marketing initiatives, promotions, and distributing digital releases, the company is actually still releasing physical CD’s as well. While Amalgam has a unique and progressive strategy, the company still faces the same issues and delays every major label encounters when dealing with physical product. Despite the climate at retail and 4th quarter delays that prevent “Padded Room” from being released in October 2008, we stand behind Joe Budden and believe he should have the opportunity to release music to his fans. Together our proactive strategy will include releasing a digital only album from Joe Budden entitled "The Halfway House" that will be available exclusively in the digital format on October 28th, 2008 followed by Joe Budden's "Padded Room" which will be available in both digital and CD format in stores worldwide February 24th, 2009. N*E*R*D* Set to release their new album June 10th
N*E*R*D* is set to release Seeing Sounds, their third album on June 10th, 2008. You already know the story of the Neptunes, Grammy Award winning producers and songwriters Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, but the N*E*R*D* trio consists of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and longtime friend and creative wunderkind, Shae Haley. The album is a blistering mash-up of booming hip-hop beats and rollercoastering rock riffs, rumbling crunk rhythms and scintillating soul music. Ali Vegas album coming in August
Ali Vegas, who recently dropped a mixtape with HipHopGame and Statik Selektah, will be releasing Generation Gap 2: The Prequel in August on Rich Soil Ent/Asylum. Generation Gap 2 will feature production from DJ Premier, Scott Storch, Cool and Dre and Midi Mafia, among others. Akon, Styles P, AZ and Sammie are also making appearances on the album.
Busta Set do drop new Album.
Busta Rhymes returns to drop his 8th studio album, “Blessed,” June 17th. He will be shooting the video for his first single, “We Made It,” today in Los Angeles. The video features Linkin Park and will be directed by Chris Robinson. The single is produced by Cool & Dre and the video is set to be released in May. Busta Rhymes has this to say about the first single, “It ain’t just about the ‘hood, it ain’t just about the suburbs, it’s about everybody. This is one of those songs that can’t be described better than touching the souls of the common people.”
