C-Murder Wants to be Remy Ma's Prison Mentor
C-Murder has offered to help Remy Ma cope with jail life after her partner Papoose approached him for advice. The New Orleans, Louisiana star is currently under house arrest - awaiting a retrial - after a life sentence for second-degree murder was overturned in 2006. And he's using the time between jail and court to mentor other rap stars who have been incarcerated. He says, "Papoose had a lot of questions about Remy's situation, so any kind of way I can help, even if it's just words and advice, that's what it is."
C- Murder, real name Corey Miller, admits he's a little concerned that so many of his peers have been locked up in the past two years. He tells XXL magazine, "It seem like we targets (sic). Everybody blames hip-hop for all the problems in the world, so whenever a situation happen with a hip-hop artist, they gon' make it seem so drastic.
"They judge a book by its cover, off top. And definitely with the rap game, they feel like we out there thuggin', wildin' out, and that ain't really what we about.
"We don't want to be put in these situations, but once we there, we just gotta deal with 'em."
Remy Ma, real name Remi Smith, was sentenced to serve eight years behind bars earlier this year (May08) after she was found guilty on weapons and assault charges.
The 26-year-old hip-hop star shot Makeda Barnes Joseph in the abdomen last year (07). She is awaiting an appeal.
Gossip: Juelz Santana Got Robbed in London
It seems that Santana’s former manager got a couple of London promoters for 70K a couple of years back and ran off into the sunset like shit was sweet. So I guess these gentlemen got word that Juelz was in the country and saw an opportunity for getback.
And so the story goes that a large contingent of goons rushed Juelz’ hotel last night on some No Country For Old Men type shit. Long story short, Young Splashy Splash had to be escorted out of the place by police and checked into a different hotel. The aforementioned chaps eventually tracked him to the new hotel, ran up his new room and took all of those shiny baubles you see him flashing on hood DVD’s.
There’s more to the story, but I can’t even bring myself to put it out there. From what I hear, alot more information, and possibly even some video, should be trickling out of the U.K. over the next couple of days.

Charles Hamilton to Launch Virtual Tour
Charles Hamilton is set to give a new definition to the word “tour” with The Hamiltonization Process.
The critically acclaimed rapper will partner up with several leading web sites and blogs for a three month, eight site tour which begins September 2 on OkayPlayer.com and concludes December 9 on OnSmash.com. Hamilton is also partnering with music site Imeem.com for the venture.
The cyberspace tour hopes to reach two million unique visitors. New music from Hamilton will be streamed on each site for two weeks. After that, users will be able to embed the music for personal sites and blogs courtesy of Imeem’s music player.
All new music will be mixed by Hamilton’s official DJ, DJ Skee.
