LL Cool J Talks About Jay-Z Situation

LL Cool, who's got an album coming soon ('Exit 13: The Icon Versus the Wolf Pack') in which he’ll battle the new young rappers, talked to NY Magazine about the tensions between him and Jay-Z.
In the past, LL Cool J blamed Jay-Z (President of Def Jam) for his poor album sales and last week he criticized Jay again for jumping on 50 Cent's 'I Get Money Remix' saying:
'Instead of doing that verse, you should have been doing your job.'

Now LL seems to have calmed down a little judging by his recent comments:

“We need to meet and figure it out,” he said. “It’s tough. Let’s be real. You know, they have an artist”—Jay-Z—“running a label full of artists. Okay? That’s like Calvin Klein running a fashion label and Varvatos and everyone else is underneath him. What kind of sense does that make? This hierarchy? It doesn’t work for me.”

“I’m going to approach [the meeting with Jay-Z] from a positive, optimistic viewpoint. Hopefully it will work.”
