While the Swizz Beatz backed return of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony proved that the relationship between Bizzy Bone and his former brethren is still somewhat rocky, his upcoming solo album finds him mending fences with another rapid-rhyming Midwesterner. "Money," the lead single from Bizzy's A Song For You, features the former Eazy-E protege rhyming alongside Chicago's Twista. The feud between Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Twista was well documented in the movie Beef, but has long since been settled and Twista is one of many A-List artists to appear on Bizzy Bone's album.
"I can't wait for my fans to hear my new music," says Bizzy Bone. "For the first time in my life, I've truly been able to put aside all my demons and just focus on making the best music possible. Don't believe what you've heard--I'm back, I'm bringing it, and I'm here to stay."
A Song For You will feature guest appearances by DMX, Trina, Jim Jones and others. The album, which will be released on After Platinum/Virgin Records, is Bizzy's first major label release since 1998's Heaven'z Movie, which was certified gold. Although no official release date has been given, tracks and additional information are available on Bizzy's official Myspace Page.
