UGK tops the charts




UGK, Texas rap duo (Bun B & Pimp C(, came in at number 1 on the billboard charts this week. UGK’s seventh album, “Underground Kingz,” sold 156k units giving them the number one album in the country for the first time in their career’s. UGK first came together in 1987, and after 20 years in the game they are still going strong. Number 2 on the charts was Plies with, “The Real Testament,” selling 91k units. Plies has had much success with his single, “Shawty,” featuring T-Pain. Common drops from the number 1 spot to number 7 this week.

The top 2 albums in the country are from southern rap artist, so the South is not going anywhere people.
